Lilleheden manufactures glulam for construction projects and is therefore certified in accordance with the following standards.
The above mentioned certificates are issued by the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute AB in Boräs and by the Otto Graff Institute in Stuttgart. Both certificates apply to Lilleheden’s production facilities, which are situated in Hirtshals and Bredebro.

Guarantee As a customer you have the guarantee that Lilleheden complies with these standards, which include full traceability on the glulam and current internal quality control and tests.
Below you will find the current quality controls and tests that are carried out:
- Moisture contents of the beams
- Finger joint strength
- Quality of lamella planing
- Mixing and application of glue
- Gluing times, applied pressure and curing conditions
- Curing conditions, temperature and air humidity in the factory
- Gluing quality
The finger joint is tested by a destructive bending tests. The quality of the gluing is checked by a de-lamination test.
In addition to our internal quality control system, certification requires external control. The external control is carried out by the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute AB twice a year.
